“My paintings and sculptures are a continuation of the making practices present within my family history. Through the lens of my grandmother’s extensive fiber practice, the planar quality of my work can be better understood as strongly related to textiles.

In addition to pursuing craft based making processes, my work is an extension of who I am; a student of life and art. My practice combines observation of my everyday experience and constant material investigation. I make art that brings me joy and keeps me curious. I hope, in turn, my work sparks both joy and curiosity in my collectors.”
